The pipeline

Scelo's core is a three-stage pipeline. It's a guided flow where each stage has a clear job and its own scoped AI assistant.

The macro view

The macro view: three pipeline stages wired together, each with a status summary and a scoped chat box. The animated illustration needs JavaScript.

Dashboards → Scelo shows the three stages as cards on a canvas:

  • Each card carries a status summary (rows/cols for Soft, model count for Tools, run count + headline for Hard — with errors and not applicable models counted separately).
  • A small chat box on each card answers stage-scoped questions without drilling in (e.g. "restore a project", "swap chain-ladder for Mack", "explain this ultimate").
  • open → drills into that stage's full workstation.
  • EXPORT · WHOLE PIPELINE turns the entire flow into a script.
  • + START PROJECT scaffolds a new project.

The three stages

  • Soft Data

    Load, inspect, clean, reshape, and augment a dataset. The intake desk.

  • Tools

    Choose actuarial models — by hand or AI-suggested — and wire them on a typed canvas. The model bench.

  • Hard Data

    Run the models, read the canvas, export the board pack. The readout desk.

State flows forward

The dataset you load in Soft is available to Tools and Hard; the models you switch on in Tools, and the wires between them, drive the runs in Hard. You can move freely between stages and your work persists.

Side panels

Each workstation keeps its detail panels and its stage chat beside its main view: Soft's column summary; Tools' stats and model details; Hard's run stats and result details. The panel-toggle icon in a panel's header corner collapses it to a thin rail labelled with its name — soft · column, tools · model, hard · chat, … — headed by the same icon; click the rail to open the panel again. Panels slide open and shut like a drawer. Drag a panel's inner edge to resize it, and double-click the edge to reset its width. Widths and collapsed panels hold while you move between the stages; they aren't saved with the session.
